Alan J. Horowitz

Alan J. Horowitz has more than 30 years of experience and success in executive leadership, business development, and marketing in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Horowitz has developed business strategy and execution plans for key markets including federal DoD, federal civilian, federal intelligence agencies, state & local government, education, and commercial markets. As Chief Executive Officer of AcisTek Corporation, Mr. Horowitz oversees corporate strategy development and execution, guides the firm towards consistent growth, maintains exceptional client and business partner satisfaction, and enables a culture that attracts, develops, and keeps world class Information Technology professionals and business partners. Prior to joining AcisTek, Mr. Horowitz held the position of President at Mainstream Global Solutions, a professional services and management consulting firm. Mr. Horowitz oversaw the major functions of the company including operations, consulting delivery, sales, marketing and contracting. He was responsible for steering the company towards long-term growth opportunities and expanding the company's influence within public sector and commercial markets. Prior to joining MainStream, Mr. Horowitz was General Manager of World Wide Public Sector Services at Microsoft Corporation. He was responsible for launching the IT services business in U.S. Public Sector for Microsoft. This business became the largest revenue and profit producer in the Americas for Microsoft and delivered top customer satisfaction results. As his role evolved into leading the world wide public sector services business, he had oversight for a business generating in excess of $700M per year with growth of more than 20% per year. Before being promoted to General Manager of World Wide Public Sector Services, Mr. Horowitz was the General Manager of USA Public Sector Services at Microsoft. In this position he developed, sold, and managed the largest consulting and product support project in history at the time with U.S. Air Force. The business was responsible for architecting, deploying and managing enterprise technology solutions for Microsoft's largest customers. He was also responsible for launching Microsoft into the U.S. Intelligence community and business including developing and maintaining a security clearance program that covered field staff, managers, and Microsoft corporate executives. Prior to executive roles at Microsoft, Mr. Horowitz held leadership positions at McLendon Automation and Future Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Horowitz earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Maryland.
